Lines in Space
bent wood
As artist Susan Manspeizer sees it, the Karbon® articulating faucet by Kohler moves like an elegant dancer whose flexible limbs create awe-inspiring forms. With its distinctive pivoting joints, the Karbon faucet is like putty in your hands—you can twist it into shapes that express your individual style as well as direct water spray with unparalleled precision. Manspeizer captures the faucet's elegance and mobility in her seven-foot-tall sculpture made from bent wood. "I choreographed these lines in space in five different positions to mimic the movements of the faucet," says Manspeizer. The Karbon faucet's unique characteristics also drove Manspeizer's paint color choice—a bright red—which reads bold, innovative and dynamic.
